Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Diesel Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers across our TA Truck Service locations. You’ll work to deliver fast, high-quality service and keep drivers on the road safely.

Join a safety‑driven team focused on customer satisfaction and continuous learning. A valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks or trailers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose wear conditions with guidance.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and standard shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose wear conditions and, with TSA or Manager, make customer recommendations.
• Complete repairs within capability and as written.
• Understand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to customers and ensure timely repairs.
• Work in a team to exceed customer expectations.
