Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Diesel Technician to service and repair a range of commercial trucks. This role involves performing repairs on engines and components, reading job orders, and ensuring safety standards on site.

The position offers ongoing training, opportunities for growth, and competitive compensation. High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job order and plan work procedures.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory bulletins.
