Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc is seeking a Rush Technician to join Rush Truck Centers, the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America. You will provide technical service, perform repairs on trucks and engines, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with OEM specifications.

Qualifications include a GED and at least 5 years as a Class 7/8 technician; CDL and medical card are preferred but not required. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• CDL and Medical card preferred but not required; ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines; install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts and other parts.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and plan work procedures.
• Attend training classes and maintain knowledge of factory bulletins.
