Rush Truck Centers, part of Rush Enterprises Inc., is hiring a skilled technician to service and repair heavy-duty trucks nationwide. The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling engines and components, following safety procedures, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with insurability.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins ASE certifications preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Install injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, bearings, oil pans, clutches, brakes and transmissions.
• Read job orders and plan work procedures based on vehicle observations.
• Inspect guards, bolts and safety devices and make adjustments as needed.
• Lubricate moving parts and drive vehicle to verify specifications.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay current with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to boost satisfaction.
