Job summary

CSM Companies, Inc. - Kenworth is accepting applications for entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics to maintain and repair Class 8 trucks. The role requires troubleshooting and preventive maintenance across multiple systems, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree/cert preferred.
• Experienced technicians need 3–5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Personal tool inventory required to perform duties.
• Ability to obtain a Valid CDL.
• Ability to read repair orders, manuals, and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Troubleshoots electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension systems.
• Writes detailed repair procedures on Repair Orders.
• Uses diagnostic equipment to detect and isolate faults.
• Communicates repair information clearly to Shop Foreman and parts staff.
• Test drives customer vehicles to verify repairs.
• Interacts with customers professionally and supports other technicians.
