Job summary

CSM Kenworth in Cleveland is seeking entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics to perform repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance on Class 8 trucks.

Responsibilities include accurate repair orders, diagnosing faults, and communicating with the shop team. Applicants should be mechanically inclined; experienced technicians need 3–5 years of diesel experience. Excellent benefits offered, and opportunities to join a progressive dealer group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree or certificate preferred.
• Experienced technicians must have 3–5 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret repair orders, schematics and technical bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on medium and heavy duty vehicles.
• Uses diagnostic equipment to detect faults and isolates faults.
• Writes clear, accurate repair descriptions on repair orders.
• Communicates with parts department and Shop Foreman to obtain parts and information.
• Performs road tests to verify repairs and troubleshoot issues.
