Job summary

CSM Kenworth in Zanesville is currently accepting applications for entry level and experienced diesel truck mechanics. Responsibilities include repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of Class 8 trucks.

Candidates must be mechanically inclined; 3-5 years experience for experienced technicians. Excellent benefits offered. This is an ongoing listing and we are always looking for talent in a progressive work environment and a growing dealer group.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years diesel mechanic experience for experienced level.
• Ability to obtain CDL.
• Strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, drive train, HVAC, brake, engine, and suspension systems.
• Document failures and repair procedures on Repair Orders.
• Use diagnostic equipment to locate faults and verify repairs.
• Communicate repair details to the Shop Foreman and parts staff.
• Test drives to confirm repair effectiveness.
• Assist other technicians as needed.
