Job summary
Republic Services in Fall River, MA seeks a Maintenance Technician B on 2nd shift to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes, HVAC, suspension and drive train. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventative maintenance, and provide road service as needed.

Qualifications
- Diagnose multi-system issues and apply repair skills.
- Experience with light/medium/heavy trucks and related systems.
- 3–5 years in a technician role or recent automotive school graduate.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- ASE T1–T8 certifications are a plus; CDL is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and repair maintenance on vehicle components on-site and on the road.
- Repair chassis, refuse bodies and associated hydraulic/electrical systems; and air/hydraulic braking systems.
- Light engine repair; service suspension, drivetrain and HVAC components.
- Welding and fabrication; provide road service as needed.
- Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete required trainings.
