Job summary

Republic Services in Minnesota is hiring a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, suspension, and drivetrains on site and on the road.

You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventive maintenance, welding, and road service while pursuing training in new technologies. 2nd shift bonus applies.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience or education in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance (Classes 7-8) or automotive tech school.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair multi-system vehicle components and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Perform chassis, refuse body, braking, and engine maintenance.
• Welding and fabrication as needed; provide on-road road service.
