Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, the largest Kenworth truck dealership group in North America, seeks a Service Foreman to supervise service technicians, assist with diagnostics, and support the service advisor in greeting customers and estimating repair costs. You will help set shop schedules, ensure quality, and manage warranty processing.

CDL is preferred and a four-year service background is expected. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and efficient repair operations in a busy shop

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and performance management of service technicians.
• Schedule and assign work as required.
• Manage technicians and repair scheduling to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate with Service Advisor to schedule shop work and communicate with customers.
• Review work in process to meet customer expectations.
• Set sales and gross profit objectives.
• Inspect and road test vehicles after repair.
• Keep warranty information and claims records updated.
• Perform productive work as needed.
• Inform Service Manager of customer complaints for resolution.
• Investigate policy expenses to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain a clean shop and proper tool/equipment condition.
• Promote safe work habits and report violations.
• Notify on shop bills that exceed customer credit limits.
• Pre-Plan parts requirements.
• Participate in training on warranty and technical issues.
• Assist in opening and closing repair orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
