Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade school preferred.
• Must have 1+ year experience or completion of trade school.
• Must be able to use hand tools and test equipment; own tools preferred.
• CDL and acceptable MVR may be required if driving on public roads.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of diesel engines, trucks and/or forklifts.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and prepare FMCSA-compliant safety documents.
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals; repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with specs and regulations.
• Maintain regular attendance; flexible to perform other duties as assigned.
