Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC is hiring a Diesel Truck Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain the mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and hostler vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, address breakdowns, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires 1–3 years of diesel mechanic experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and scheduling systems, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic on semi-trucks, trailers or hostler vehicles.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Able to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Familiar with maintenance scheduling systems and keeping service records.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Experience with hostlers and forklifts is a plus; electric trucks a plus.
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems (fuel, electrical, cooling, exhaust).
• Must lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions; own necessary tools.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening.
• Open availability required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines to maintain optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hostler trucks.
• Conduct full vehicle assessments and timely repairs on scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
• Maintain detailed service records of work, parts, and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and adhere to routine maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Communicate findings and repair needs effectively with maintenance supervisor.
