ConGlobal is seeking a Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team at the railyard. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and hostler vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic on semi-trucks, trailers, or hostler vehicles.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repairs of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Familiarity with maintenance scheduling systems and keeping service records.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines (Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit) to maintain performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using wiring schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hostler trucks to minimize downtime.
• Conduct full vehicle assessments and timely repairs on scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
• Maintain detailed service records of work performed and parts used.
