Job summary

ConGlobal Industries LLC in Maple Heights, OH is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and hostler vehicles, ensuring safety and uptime.

Starting pay ranges from $33.00 to $43.00 per hour with full-time status and open availability (Mon-Fri 6:00am-4:00pm; on-call weekends).

Qualifications

1–3 years of diesel mechanic experience with semi-trucks, trailers, or hostlers.
Proficient with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems; able to read schematics.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather; valid driver's license.
Experience with maintenance scheduling and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines to maintain performance.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hostler trucks.
Conduct full vehicle assessments and timely repairs on scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
Maintain detailed service records of work completed, parts replaced, and maintenance schedules.
Monitor routine maintenance schedules and safety compliance.
Communicate findings with maintenance supervisor to prioritize work.
