Job summary

ConGlobal is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team at the railyard. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems on a fleet of semi-trucks, trailers, and hostler vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic with semi-trucks, trailers or hostler vehicles.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Familiarity with maintenance scheduling systems and keeping accurate service records.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills; ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines to maintain optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and hostler trucks.
• Conduct full vehicle assessments and timely repairs on scheduled and unscheduled service calls.
• Maintain detailed service records of work and parts.
• Communicate findings to supervisor and team to prioritize resources.
