Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in Elizabeth, New Jersey to perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to advance within a safety-focused, state-of-the-art environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with vocational/technical certification, plus experience in mechanical repair of diesel engines and a CDL Class A is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventive maintenance.

Mansioni

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
