Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking an experienced diesel truck technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, and complete warranty work. You will inspect systems, replace parts, weld and cut, and ensure quality service for customers across our Alabama locations.

The role requires three years of diesel service and diagnostics, plus strong reading/comprehension and communication skills. Expect a 40-hour week with overtime and a monthly upsales bonus, reporting to the Service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• Must be able to operate power and hand tools safely and use other equipment.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Professional appearance and strong oral and written communication with customers and contacts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles and perform visual inspections.
• Remove parts and attachments and complete warranty repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service work.
• Repair lights, wiring, welding, cutting and related tasks.
• Work under Service Manager; 40 hours per week with potential overtime; monthly upsales bonus.
