Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group in Georgia and Alabama is hiring a Mobile Diesel Truck Technician to provide on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs. You will perform visual inspections, part removal, warranty work, preventive maintenance, and wiring repairs, reporting to the Mobile Service Manager.

The role is 40 hours weekly, with overtime potential and a monthly bonus based on upsales. A high school diploma and diesel truck service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of diesel truck service experience and diagnostics skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; valid driver's license.
• Willingness to obtain DOT Medical certification; professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform visual inspections of diesel trucks.
• Remove parts, conduct repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair lights, wiring, and welding; operate power tools safely.
• Record work and communicate with customers; upsell where appropriate.
