Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to deliver on-site diesel truck service across our Georgia and Alabama locations. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and complete repairs including electrical work and welding while upholding safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years of diesel service and computer diagnostics experience, plus strong reading, writing, and communication skills with customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and inspect trucks; perform visual inspections and diagnostic tests.
• Remove parts and attachments as needed; perform warranty repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance services and repairs to lights and wiring.
• Welding, cutting, and other repairs as required.
• Operate power and hand tools safely; lift parts up to 70 pounds.
• Follow safety policies; adhere to DOT requirements and company procedures.
