Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group in Georgia is seeking a diesel truck service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks across our Georgia and Alabama locations.

You will perform visual inspections, replace parts, and handle warranty repairs, with a 40-hour week, overtime eligibility, and a monthly bonus incentive based on upsales. A high school diploma and 3 years diesel diagnostics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of diesel truck service experience.
• Experience with computer diagnostics.
• Must read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel trucks and related components.
• Replace parts, perform warranty repairs, and maintenance.
• Repair lights, wiring, welding, cutting and other tasks.
• Operate power and hand tools safely; read instructions.
• Stand 6–8 hours, lift up to 70 lbs; adhere to safety.
• Participate in background check and post-offer drug screen.
