Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group in Georgia is seeking an experienced diesel truck technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across our service bays. You will perform visual inspections, parts removal, warranty repairs, preventive maintenance, and related repairs.

The role reports to the Service Manager, is a 40-hour week with overtime opportunity, and offers a flat rate plan plus a monthly upsell bonus for well-qualified technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability.
• Able to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Strong oral and written communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, perform maintenance services, and repair diesel trucks.
• Handle warranty repairs, preventive maintenance, and repairs to lights and wiring.
• Welding, cutting, and related repairs as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly.
