Job summary

Pearson Peterbilt Group is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to diagnose and repair diesel trucks, perform preventative maintenance, and handle wiring, welding, and component replacements. You will work under the Service Manager in a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities and a monthly bonus based on upsales.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of diesel truck service and diagnostics experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of diesel truck service and computer diagnostics experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Dressing professionally and communicating well orally and in writing with customers/vendors is a must.
• Physically able to stand 6–8 hours and lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform warranty repairs.
• Conduct visual inspections and remove parts/attachments.
• Repair lights and wiring; welding and cutting as needed.
