Job summary

Northwest Equipment Sales is seeking a Diesel Technician in Hermiston, OR. You will perform maintenance and repair work on trucks, diagnose concerns, and document repairs under the Shop Foreman’s guidance.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with hand tools. CDL is a plus; benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years training, education, or experience in maintenance or related field.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on trucks as listed on repair orders.
• Inspect and diagnose truck concerns with proper equipment.
• Document repairs and communicate needed maintenance to Shop Foreman.
• Attend training to stay updated with industry standards and OEM literature.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
