Job summary

Wfservices is seeking a detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic for Redmond, OR. The role requires inspecting and diagnosing a diverse fleet of diesel and gas engines, performing repairs, and maintaining vehicle records. Most work is at the shop, with occasional field inspections in all weather conditions.

A valid driver’s license and own tools are required. The position offers full benefits and a standard M–F schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of diesel/gas engines and related systems.
• Ability to perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs without supervision.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle/equipment condition via inspections and diagnostics.
• Keep equipment available by completing preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Repair major assemblies and systems (powertrain, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Verify performance by test drives and adjusting controls.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state vehicle requirements; document services.
