Job summary
Reyes Fleet Management seeks a skilled Diesel Mechanic for our Martin Brower facility in Phoenix to service tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units. Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm. Pay: $33.00–$37.00/hr based on experience.
The role requires diagnosing, repairing, and documenting work in our Enterprise Asset Management system, with adherence to DOT/OSHA safety standards. Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience.
- Must possess own tools.
- Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, up to 100 lbs.
- Must maintain DOT-regulated driver qualification files as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units).
- Complete detailed work orders and preventative maintenance in the EAM system.
- Diagnose complex mechanical/electric problems using diagnostic tech where applicable.
- Perform inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
- Follow all DOT/OSHA regulations and safety programs.
