Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to support our fleet of tractors and trailers at our Phoenix facility. The role covers inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance with strict DOT/compliance requirements.

Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm. Competitive hourly pay from $25.00 to $30.00, plus benefits and incentive programs. Tools needed to perform the work are the responsibility of the employee.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record per DOT regulations to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Document repairs and maintenance in AssetWorks with parts used and work performed.
• Inspect vehicles and fleet equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management safety standards and use of PPE.
• Possess a valid driver qualification file and complete DOT screening where required.
