Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Stockton, CA is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to perform repairs and maintenance on tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units at our Martin Brower facility. Shift: Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00 PM–6:00 AM.

Pay: $41.00/hr. Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience, own tools, a valid driver's license and compliant MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Must possess own tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with DOT regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Valid CDL (License A) is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Completes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practices.
• This position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles; DOT regulations apply and a current driver qualification file must be maintained.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned
