Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic at the Reyes Fleet Management Martin Brower facility in Phoenix to service a large fleet of tractors, trailers and refrigeration units. Shift is Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with pay of $33.00 to $37.00/hr based on experience.

Required: High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience, own tools, valid driver’s license and a DOT-compliant driving record. CDL is highly desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of related experience.
• Own tools required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MOT record per DOT regulations.
• CDL is highly desired; mandatory in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electric problems using diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
• Complete complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA and Reyes Fleet Management standards and safety programs.
• May drive Reyes Family of Businesses vehicles; DOT-required driver qualification file must be maintained; CDL Drug Screening applies.
• Some travel may be required.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.
