Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel fleet equipment including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, air brakes, HVAC, suspension and drive train.

The role involves on-site and on-road service supported by a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of technician experience, basic ASE knowledge (T1–T8) or related automotive training, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues on Class 1-8 trucks and equipment.
• 3–5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from automotive program.
• ASE certifications (T1–T8) are a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Performs preventative and repair maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment.
• Repairs chassis components, refuse bodies, and hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Maintains and repairs braking, suspension, drivetrain, and HVAC systems.
• Provides basic line welding and fabrication as needed.
• Safely performs road service to return equipment to operation.
