Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Bowling Green, KY. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a modern fleet, ensuring vehicles stay on the road and safe for customers.

The role offers diverse work, growth opportunities, and access to Penske’s technician training and advanced technology. Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00pm–10:30pm with a $2.00/hour shift premium.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety policies; DOT/OSHA compliance.
• Able to pass drug screen, background checks, and DOT requirements.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, diagnose, and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
