Job summary

Penske is seeking a skilled Technician in Obetz, Ohio for 2nd shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm). You will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and diagnostic equipment to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

The role offers shift premium, comprehensive training, and growth opportunities within a clean, safety‑driven facility. Prior repair experience and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT/safety checks.
• Ability to learn Penske’s maintenance processes and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to ensure vehicle safety.
• Use Penske tools to log, diagnose, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform tire rotations, lubrication, and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborate with the manager on training and skill development.
• Support additional projects as assigned by supervision.
