Ryder System, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position offers a 12:00 pm–8:30 pm shift, hourly pay of $28.00, and potential quarterly bonuses up to $500. You will diagnose mechanical and electronic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and interact with drivers to determine causes, with training and growth opportunities provided by Ryder.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two years or more of related training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Performs facility maintenance duties.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Follows all safety, DOT, MOT/regs and company policies.
• Performs other support duties as required to support operations.
