Job summary

DATTCO, INC in Cranston, RI is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic for our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance location. This full-time position covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles, plus required repair-order paperwork and road calls.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or trade school, automotive/truck/bus repair experience, a valid driver’s license with CDL eligibility, and ASE certification pursuit.

• Owns and maintains proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Follows orders of shop foreman or supervisor.

DATTCO currently has a full-time Diesel Technician/Mechanic opening at our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance location in Cranston, RI.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
• Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent

• Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
