Job summary

DATTCO, INC in Rhode Island invites applications for a full-time Mechanic in our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department. The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, road calls, and keeping proper repair records; candidates should have a high school diploma or trade school, and at least one year in automotive or bus repair, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
• Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage.
• Make road calls.
• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
• Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor.

DATTCO currently has a full-time Mechanic opening in our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department.
