Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I to lead maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics with minimal supervision, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.

As a trusted senior technician, you will mentor others, work with advanced maintenance technologies, and participate in Penske certification programs to advance your career.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials); ASE/Cetifications preferred.
• Experience using tools of the trade (diagnostic equipment, welding equipment, hand and power tools).
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
