Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician II in West Valley City, UT. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, work independently, and mentor newer technicians while learning Penske’s maintenance processes and cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical repair cert preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE and 608/609 preferred.
• Reliable with tools and preventive maintenance; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to keep customers safe.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training.
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
