Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician at our Comstock Park, MI location. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to keep our fleet reliable and on the road.

You’ll work with Penske’s training programs and cutting-edge tech while building a stable career with growth opportunities. The role requires basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to solve problems and use tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring vehicles are safe for customers.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotations and lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Participating in other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
