Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Comstock Park, MI to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You will use Penske tools and training to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

You will work alongside experienced supervisors and master technicians, receiving certified training to grow your career and learn Penske’s maintenance processes. A competitive starting salary and benefits are provided, with opportunities for advancement and location

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs including diagnostics.
• Perform basic tire replacements, lubrication and selected electrical or cooling system maintenance.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Support supervisors and complete other tasks as assigned.
