Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician at the Concord, NC location to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will log repairs using Penske’s tools, perform basic diagnostics, and complete maintenance tasks like tire rotation and lubrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools; strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools and technologies.
• Perform basic diagnostics and maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Work with supervision to learn new skills via Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned by supervisor.
