Penske is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet at the Asheville, NC location. You’ll work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, learning Penske’s maintenance processes and certification training to grow your career.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske’s tools and technologies, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, and handle electrical and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
