Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Concord, NC is seeking a Technician II to keep our fleet on the road. You will perform preventative maintenance and major repairs with little supervision, diagnosing issues and delivering reliable service to customers.

You'll work on a variety of OEM equipment, train with Penske’s technician programs, and have opportunities for career growth, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational cert preferred.
Experience diagnosing major components (engines, transmissions).
Valid driver's license required.
DOT/OSHA safety compliance knowledge.
Good customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems.
Keep work area clean and safe.
Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
Learn new skills via Penske's technician training.
Take on additional tasks as assigned.
