Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician in Franklin Park, IL. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a broad fleet, logging work with Penske tools and ensuring safe, reliable operation for customers.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of automotive experience, and a valid driver's license. DOT safety requirements and background checks apply; great training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and DOT requirements.

Responsabilités

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance—replacing or rotating tires, lubrication, some electrical and cooling maintenance on gas and diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills via Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
