Penske, a leading transportation solutions provider, is seeking a Technician in Franklin Park, IL. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet to keep customers on the road.

The role offers learning opportunities through Penske’s technician training and a strong safety culture. This position requires basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use tools.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske’s tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication on gas and diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
