Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician in Burlington, NJ. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet to keep customers on the road. You’ll work with experienced mentors and gain access to Penske’s technician training programs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license; ability to use Penske tools and technologies

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire replacement/rotation and lubrication
• Collaborating with supervisor to learn new skills through Penske training
• Willingness to travel within nearby geography for training; adhere to safety policies
