Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use tools.
• The ability to solve problems and work with others in a team.
• Compliance with Penske safety policies, DOT/OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication of components.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Woking on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
