Penske Truck Leasing Co. in Elmira, NY is hiring a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet, using advanced tools and training to keep vehicles on the road.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–10:30 pm with starting pay of $25.25/hr plus $3 shift differential, plus benefits and opportunities for growth. If you’re mechanically inclined with a high school diploma or auto tech training and a valid driver’s license, apply to join our team and learn from

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn repair tasks.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilités

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs (e.g., tire rotation, lubrication) and some electrical/cooling system work on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
