Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is hiring a Technician in Ceres, CA. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, using Penske’s tools and technologies to diagnose and complete repairs.

This role offers safety-focused training, a clear path for growth, and a shift that supports work-life balance. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years of automotive repair experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and tool handling ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research, and complete repairs using Penske tools and diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Handle additional projects assigned by supervisor.
