Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet, ensuring vehicles stay safe and on the road in Spokane. You will use Penske>s tools and diagnostic technologies while learning through hands-on coaching from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1d2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools; strong customer service & communication skills.
• Willingness to work the required schedule and comply with Penske safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske6s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance repairs and component lubrication on gas and diesel engine vehicles.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
