Penske is hiring a Technician in Mobile, AL. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet, using Penske tools to log and diagnose issues. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes and pursue industry-certified training while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safety requirements.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools and technologies; basic diagnostics.
• Support tire rotation, lubrication, and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Collaborate with management to learn new skills through Penske training.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
