Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will work with experienced supervisors and master technicians, using Penske tools and technology to log and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and hands-on learning. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to grow through Penske’s training programs and

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive Penske and customer vehicles.
  • Strong problem solving and tool use skills; customer service aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
  • Use Penske tools and tech to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication.
  • Learn new skills through Penske technician training and coaching with management.
  • Contribute to other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
